LONG STRETCH! This exercise is the perfect example of how we use ALL of the muscles and our breath in Pilates. Inhaling as you press the carriage out, holding the abdominals, squeezing the midline, inner thighs & glutes, and lastly using our side body and shoulders to drag the carriage back in on an exhale. Breathing allows us to go deeper into our muscles, and our lungs replenishing our body with fresh air to fuel us up for more repetitions!
